DTC 52 - Data Area Full

After SDM provides a deployment signal to inflator modules, it monitors SIR system status and records information about crash. This information is recorded in Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM) portion of SDM. EEPROM portion of SDM has storage capacity to record two air bag deployment events. DTC 52 will be set when EEPROM portion of SDM is full. Tech-1 scan tool may be used to clear EEPROM.
WARNING:
To avoid air bag deployment and injury when trouble shooting system, only use test equipment specified in diagnostic charts. Under no circumstances should battery powered test equipment or test light be used. Carefully follow all instructions.
