DTC P0335 - Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor CKT Malfunction
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect CKP sensor harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminals of CKP sensor. Measure resistance between each terminal and ground. If resistance is 360-460 ohms at 68°F (20°C) between terminals and one megohm or greater between each terminal and ground, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, replace CKP sensor. Retest system.
- Visually check CKP sensor and crankshaft pulley for incorrect installation or damage. Repair as necessary. Retest system. If sensor and pulley are okay, go to next step.
- Check White/Red wire or White/Black wire between PCM and CKP sensor for an open or short. Repair as necessary. Retest system. If wires are okay, check for an intermittent problem. See appropriate TESTS W/O CODES article. Repair as necessary. Retest system.
