DTC 17 - Abs Enable Relay Coil Circuit Shorted To Ground: Notes

DTC 17 can set before the EBCM commands the ABS enable relay on. This test determines if relay is energized when it shouldn't be. Other DTCs may exists if relay does not turn off when commanded off.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Indicates if EBCM is capable of controlling the ABS enable relay as commanded.
- Checks to ensure ABS enable relay or Black/Blue wire between relay and EBCM is not shorted to ground.
- Ensures DTC was not set due to a poor connection.
