Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor

  1. Check for correct CKP sensor installation. Inspect CKP sensor for damage or foreign material attached to sensor magnet. Repair as necessary.
  2. Disconnect CKP sensor harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminals of sensor. See the CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR RESISTANCE  table. If resistance is not as specified, replace CKP sensor.
