RWAL Power Relay

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Suzuki Sidekick. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Terminal numbers for RWAL power relay are a mirror image of connector terminals. See Figure.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove radio speaker (if equipped) from lower left side of dash. Unbolt engine ECM with cover, bracket and fuse box from steering column holder.
  2. Disconnect Yellow connector from RWAL power relay. Remove relay. Check continuity between RWAL power relay terminals No. 2 and 4. Continuity should not exist. With battery voltage applied between terminals No. 1 and 3, continuity should exist between terminals No. 2 and 4. If continuity is not as specified, replace RWAL power relay.
