DTC P0112 - Intake Air Temp. (IAT) Sensor CKT Low Input

  1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Select IAT sensor parameter on scan tool. If display reads higher than 282°F, go to next step. If display reading is near ambient temperature, check for an intermittent problem. See appropriate TESTS W/O CODES article.
  2. Disconnect IAT sensor harness connector. If display reading drops to -40°F or less, replace IAT sensor. If display reading is not as specified, check Red/Blue wire for short to Gray/Yellow wire or ground. Repair as necessary. If wire is okay, replace PCM. Retest system.
