TP Sensor Adjustment (Sidekick 1.8L)

Ensure engine is at normal operating temperature. With voltage measurement equipment still in place, ensure fast idle plunger and follower are not in contact with each other.
Loosen TP sensor screws and rotate back and forth until 0.35-0.65 volt is obtained. Tighten TP sensor screws to 14-21 INCH lbs. (1.6-2.4 N.m).

⁽²⁾	Using a voltmeter, backprobe between ground and PCM connector "B", terminal No. 17 (Green wire). See Fig 1 .
