1995 Sidekick With 3-Speed A/T

Raise and support vehicle. Place shift lever in Neutral. Remove lock nut and disconnect shift cable from shift lever on side of transmission.
Loosen park/neutral position switch retaining bolt. Rotate park/neutral position switch fully clockwise. Rotate park/neutral position switch counterclockwise until resistance is felt. Tighten park/neutral position switch retaining bolt.
Reinstall shift cable. Ensure shift lever operates correctly and engine starts only with shift lever in Park and Neutral.
