Gear Shift Lever Case: Reassembly

Install gear shift arm, gear shift shaft with shift limit spring and reverse gear shift limit yoke. Drive in gear shift lever pin, limit spring pin and gear shift arm pin. On 4WD models, install select guide pins, select return springs and select return spring bolts. Torque bolts to 24 ft. lbs. (32 N.m).
On all models, install reverse gear shift limit bolt and torque to 26 ft. lbs. (35 N.m). Clean case plate and case mating surfaces. Apply silicone sealer to case surface and install case plate and retaining screws. Torque bolts to 12 ft. lbs. (17 N.m).
