Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) Switch
- Apply parking brake firmly. Place gearshift lever in Neutral. Disconnect CPP switch connector. Loosen lock nut and turn switch outward. Depress clutch pedal to floor. Return clutch pedal along its travel from floor to specified height. See CLUTCH START SWITCH ADJUSTMENT HEIGHT .
- Connect ohmmeter to switch. Slowly screw switch in until ohmmeter shows continuity. Tighten lock nut. Reconnect CPP switch connector. Ensure when clutch pedal is fully depressed against floor, switch plunger has .02-.08" (.5-2 mm) of travel left. This will protect switch from damage due to bottoming out internally. Reconnect CPP switch connector.
