"2" Position Test

Shift transmission to "2" position. Accelerate vehicle and verify 1-2 upshift is obtained at specified throttle positions. See appropriate SHIFT SPEED SPECIFICATIONS table. While driving vehicle in 2nd gear, release accelerator and check engine braking effect. If engine braking is not present, No. 1 brake is faulty.
