Blower Resistor

  1. Blower resistor is mounted in front lower blower motor housing. Disconnect wiring harness from resistor. Terminal identification numbers are molded into resistor block.
  2. Check resistance between terminals "H" (high speed) and "LO" (Low speed). Resistance should be about 1.8 ohms. Check resistance between terminals "H" and "M1" (medium low speed). Resistance should be about one ohm. Check resistance between terminals "H" and "M2" (medium high speed). Resistance should be about 0.5 ohm. If resistance is not as specified, replace blower motor resistor.
