Cruise Control Actuator Circuit Check (3-Speed A/T & M/T)
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Suzuki Sidekick. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect electrical connector at CC ECU. Turn ignition on. Turn cruise control main switch to ON position. Using voltmeter, check voltage between ground and CC ECU connector terminal No. 5. SeeFigure . Voltage should be 10-14 volts.
- If voltage is not within specification, check fuses, wiring and electrical connectors for related wiring circuit. See appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair fuses, wiring or electrical connectors as necessary.
- If fuses, wiring and electrical connectors are okay, check cruise control main switch and/or brakelight switch. See CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH or BRAKELIGHT SWITCH under COMPONENT testing. If cruise control main switch and brakelight switch are okay, check cruise control actuator. See CRUISE CONTROL ACTUATOR under COMPONENT TESTING.
