DTC P1530 - Ignition Timing Adjustment Switch CKT Malfunction
- Locate test connector next to coolant recovery bottle. Ensure test connector terminals are not grounded or jumpered. Repair as necessary. If test connector is okay, go to next step.
- Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage (backprobe) between ground and PCM harness connector "A", terminal No. 5 (Blue/Red wire). If reading is 10-14 volts, replace PCM. If reading is not as specified, repair Blue/Red wire for short to ground. Retest system.
