DTC P0335 - Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor CKT Malfunction
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect PCM harness connectors. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between PCM harness connector "D", terminals No. 4 (Orange wire) and No. 5 (White wire). If resistance is 485-655 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, go to step 3).
- Check CKP sensor installation and condition of teeth on crankshaft. Repair as necessary. If CKP sensor and crankshaft are okay, check for poor connections at PCM. Repair as necessary. If PCM connections are okay, replace PCM. Retest system.
- Disconnect CKP sensor harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between CKP sensor terminals. If resistance is 485-655 ohms, repair open in CKP sensor circuit. If resistance is not as specified, replace CKP sensor. Retest system.
