Removal & Installation
Remove front hub and bearing assembly. See appropriate FRONT SUSPENSION article in SUSPENSION. Mount hub in vise. Using flat-head screwdriver, pry rotor ring off hub assembly gradually and evenly. See Fig 1 . DO NOT attempt to pull rotor ring out partially to prevent damage to ring. To install, press rotor ring onto hub using a pipe with inside diameter of 3.86-4.09" (98-104 mm). Outside diameter of pipe should not contact teeth on rotor ring. See Fig 2 . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure and tighten all fasteners to specification.
