DTC P0131 - Ho2S No. 1 Circuit Low/DTC P0132 - Ho2S No. 1 Circuit High Input

NOTE: If any other DTCs besides DTC P0131 or P0132 are set, diagnose those DTCs first.
  1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Start engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature. Increase engine speed to 2000 RPM and release to idle. Repeat 5-6 times continuously while monitoring HO2S No. 1 parameter on scan tool. If display reading varies from less than 0.3 volt to greater than 0.6 volt, check for an intermittent problem. See TESTS W/O CODES article. If display reading is not a specified, go to next step.
  2. Check White wire and Orange wire between HO2S No. 1 and PCM for open or short. Repair as necessary. If wires are okay, replace HO2S No. 1. Retest system.
