Shift Switch (A/T): 1995
- Apply parking brake. Place shift lever in Neutral. Shift switch is located on top of transaxle, just below shift cable. SeeFigure
. Loosen shift switch retaining bolts.
- Disconnect electrical connector at shift switch. Connect ohmmeter between terminals No. 7 and 9 on shift switch connector. SeeFig 1
.
- Rotate shift switch until ohmmeter indicates continuity. Tighten shift switch retaining bolts. Remove ohmmeter and reinstall electrical connector. Ensure engine starts only with shift lever in Park or Neutral and back-up lights operate with shift lever in Reverse.
