Clearing Trouble Codes

Once repairs have been performed, DTCs must be cleared from both PCM and TCM memory. DTCs can be cleared using a scan tool following scan tool manufacturers instructions. If a scan tool is not available, turn ignition off and disconnect negative battery cable for at least one minute.
