DTC P0715: Forward Clutch Cylinder Revolution Sensor: Notes
NOTE:
DTC P0715 will set if no forward clutch cylinder revolution sensor signal is inputted while transaxle is in "D", "2" or "L" range, and VSS (transaxle) signal was inputted.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect forward clutch cylinder revolution sensor harness connector. Using a DVOM, measure resistance between sensor terminals. If resistance is 387-475 ohms at 68°F (20°C), go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, replace sensor.
- Visually inspect sensor for damage, contamination or improper installation. Replace if necessary. If sensor is in good condition, check Red wire or Green wire between sensor and TCM for an open or short to ground. Repair as necessary, If wires are okay, check for an intermittent problem or faulty TCM. See DIAGNOSTIC AIDS .
