Resistance Check

Remove front wheel speed sensor. See FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Measure resistance between sensor harness connector terminals. Wheel speed sensor resistance should be 1200-1600 ohms at 68°F (20°C). Measure resistance between each sensor harness connector terminal and wheel speed sensor body. Insulation resistance should be one megohm or greater. If either resistance test is not as specified, replace wheel speed sensor.
