Lower Control Arm & Ball Joint: Installation
- Install suspension arm on body and finger tighten nuts and bolts. Install NEW control arm bracket nut. Install ball joint into steering knuckle clamp. Install ball joint pinch bolt so bolt head is toward front of vehicle.
- Tighten ball joint and both control arm bushings to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install wheels and lower vehicle. Check wheel alignment. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
