Daytime Running Light (DRL) System Does Not Work

- Apply parking brake and stop engine. Turn headlights on and check high/low beam operation. If headlights do not come on, replace bulbs and/or fuses as needed.
- If headlights come on, turn switch off and start engine. Release parking brake and apply foot brake. Turn light switch to OFF or parking light position. If instrument panel (DRL) indicator light does not come on, go to step 4). If indicator light does come on, go to next step.
- With indicator light on, apply and release parking brake, ensuring DRL controller makes a clicking sound each time. If no clicking sound is heard, replace DRL controller. See DRL CONTROLLER LOCATION

Application Location X90 Under Instrument Panel, At ECU Bracket DRL RESISTOR LOCATIONApplication Location X90 Under Right Front Fender Panel, Behind Apron - If DRL indicator light is off, check for battery voltage at specified DRL controller terminals. If all terminals have battery voltage and DRL controller ground does not have voltage, replace DRL controller.
- For each wire terminal that does not have battery voltage, check circuit and related parts. Make repairs and replace parts as necessary.
