Idle Speed

NOTE: On Swift, idle speed is NOT adjustable manually. If idle speed is not within specification, inspect related components.

Idle speed is controlled by ECM using an Idle Speed Control (ISC) actuator. ISC actuator contains a DC motor and idle switch. ECM controls how much the ISC actuator plunger extends, controlling idle. Idle switch is energized when plunger contacts throttle lever screw. Throttle lever screw is preset at factory and not to be adjusted.
