Valve Body Assembly: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure manual shift lever in transmission case aligns with manual valve of valve body assembly. Connect throttle cable to cam.
  2. Loosely install appropriate bolts in correct positions. See Fig 1 . Install valve assembly and torque to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Install oil tubes in proper order. See Figure . Install oil strainer and torque to specification. Ensure magnets are installed in oil pan. Install oil pan and torque to specification. Fill transmission with ATF to proper level.
