BRAKELIGHT Switch

NOTE: Brakelight switch may also be referred to as stoplight switch.
  1. Loosen lock nut on brakelight switch, located near top of brake pedal. SeeFigure . Slightly unscrew brakelight switch from mounting bracket.
  2. Pull brake pedal fully upward, toward brakelight switch. Adjust brakelight switch so clearance between threaded end of brakelight switch and brake pedal cushion is .060-.079" (1.50-2.00 mm). SeeFig 1 . Tighten lock nut.
