DTC 11: Shorted Wheel Speed Sensor

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect wheel speed sensor connector and measure resistance across wheel speed sensor terminals. If resistance is less than 1000 ohms, replace wheel speed sensor.
  2. If resistance is 1000-2000 ohms, disconnect RWAL ECM connector. Leave wheel speed sensor disconnected. Measure resistance between RWAL ECM terminal No. 10 and ground. See Figure. If resistance is 20 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Orange wire.
  3. If resistance is more than 20 k/ohms, measure resistance between RWAL ECM harness connector terminals No. 9 and 10. If resistance is more than 20 k/ohms, replace RWAL ECM. If resistance is less than 20 k/ohms, repair short between Orange and White wires.
