Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 1998 Suzuki X-90, 1998 Suzuki Sidekick, 1997 Suzuki X-90, 1997 Suzuki Sidekick, and 1996 Suzuki X-90. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

EBCM is located under instrument panel. See Figure . Disconnect negative battery terminal. Remove lower steering column cover. Remove cruise control module, if equipped. Disconnect 32-pin and 2-pin EBCM connectors. Remove 3 bolts, EBCM and lamp driver module. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
