Pump Motor

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect pump motor 2-pin harness connector. Measure resistance between pump motor terminals. Resistance should be less than one ohm at 68°F (20°C). Measure resistance between pump motor terminals and motor body. Resistance should be one megohm or more.
  2. Using jumper wires, connect positive battery voltage to harness connector terminal No. 1 (White wire) and negative battery voltage to harness connector terminal No. 2 (Black wire). Motor should operate. Replace ABS hydraulic unit if pump motor does not test as specified.
