Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disable air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. Drain radiator, and disconnect 2 heater hoses. Remove steering wheel. Remove instrument panel. See INSTRUMENT PANEL  . Remove speedometer assembly and glove box.
  2. Disconnect wiring connectors. Remove heater case bolts and nuts. Remove heater case from vehicle. Remove heater core from heater case. To install, reverse removal procedure.
