Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Using Wrench (09950-78220), remove and cap brake lines from ABS hydraulic unit. Disconnect ABS hydraulic unit harness connectors. Remove mounting nuts and separate ABS hydraulic unit from bracket. See Fig 1 . To install, reverse removal procedure. Bleed brake system, check for leakage and ABS hydraulic unit operation. See ABS HYDRAULIC UNIT OPERATION CHECK under COMPONENT TESTS.
