Symptom Chart "B": Abs Warning Light On Intermittently, No DTCS Stored

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 1998 Suzuki X-90, 1998 Suzuki Sidekick, 1997 Suzuki X-90, 1997 Suzuki Sidekick, and 1996 Suzuki X-90. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect 32-pin EBCM harness connector. Using a test light connected to ground, probe 32-pin EBCM harness connector terminal No. 24 (White wire). Monitor test light while moving wire harness and connector. If test light remains illuminated, go to next step. If test light does not remain illuminated, repair White wire between EBCM and HAZ fuse. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Using a test light connected to ground, probe 32-pin EBCM harness connector terminal No. 25 (Yellow/Green wire). Monitor test light while moving wire harness and connector. If test light remains illuminated, go to next step. If test light does not remain illuminated, repair Yellow/Green wire between EBCM and DEF fuse. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  3. System is currently functioning correctly. Intermittent malfunction could be caused by incorrect harness routing or loose ground connections. See INTERMITTENT OR POOR CONNECTIONS  .
