DTC 95: Brake Switch Circuit Always Open: Description

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 1998 Suzuki X-90, 1998 Suzuki Sidekick, 1997 Suzuki X-90, 1997 Suzuki Sidekick, and 1996 Suzuki X-90. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

DTC can be set after initialization is completed. DTC sets if brake switch input voltage is outside specified range for one second (indicating an open circuit). DTC identifies an open brake light switch circuit that prevents brake switch input to EBCM from changing states when brakes are applied.
