DTC 88: Brake Warning Light Circuit Shorted To Battery: Description

DTC 88 can only be set at the beginning of the "BULB CHECK" function or when EBCM turns on BRAKE warning light because of another DTC. DTC 88 identifies a short to battery between EBCM and BRAKE warning light or an open driver that does not allow light to be illuminated by EBCM.
