1995 Sidekick With 4-Speed A/T

  1. Apply parking brake. Disconnect electrical connector at park/neutral position switch, located on side of transmission.
  2. Note terminal identification on park/neutral position switch. See Figure . Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified terminals with shift lever in specified positions. See PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS  table. If proper continuity does not exist, adjust or replace switch as necessary.
