Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery terminal. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect rear speed sensor 2-pin harness connector and detach wire harness from vehicle body and rear axle. Remove harness clamp bolts, wheel speed sensor mounting bolt and rear wheel speed sensor. Ensure speed sensor is free from any metal particles. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification and check that there is no clearance between sensor and backing plate. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
