Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Disconnect battery negative cable from battery.
2. Remove radio speaker cover (driver's seat side).





3. Remove radio speaker (driver's seat side), if equipped.
4. Remove ECM with its bracket, fuse box and relays from steering column holder.





5. Disconnect couplers from ECM, and remove ECM from its bracket.

Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following. Connect couplers to ECM securely.
