Torque Converter Assembly Removal

- Remove the torque converter assembly.
- Inspect the torque converter assembly for the following:
- External damage
- Metal particles found after flushing the oil cooler and the cooler lines
- External leaks in the hub weld area
- The torque converter pilot is damaged or fits poorly into the crankshaft
- Internal failure of the stator roller clutch
- Contamination from the engine coolant
- Excessive end play
