Power Seat Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Suzuki XL7. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Battery voltage is supplied to the driver seat adjuster switch through the battery positive voltage circuit from the 30 A circuit breaker. The driver seat adjuster switch receives constant ground from G 301. All of the seat motor control circuits are connected to ground through the normally closed contacts of the driver seat adjuster switch. When a driver seat adjuster switch is placed in any position other than normally closed (Neutral), the seat motor control circuit is switched from ground to 12 volts and the motor moves the seat in the requested direction. When the driver seat adjuster switch is released all motor control circuits return to normally closed, or ground.
