Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

ECM Removal And Installation:

CAUTION: As ECM consists of precision parts, be careful not to expose it to excessive shock.

REMOVAL
- Disconnect battery negative cable from battery.
- Remove fuel pump relay and main relay from ECM.
- Disconnect couplers from ECM while releasing connector lock.
- Remove ECM after loosening three screws.

INSTALLATION
- Install ECM.
- Connect couplers to ECM securely.
- Install fuel pump relay and main relay to ECM.
- Connect battery negative cable to battery.
