Valve Body Assembly: Installation

  1. While holding valve body, connect manual valve to parking lock rod. Install valve body bolts and torque to 90 INCH lbs. (10.2 N.m). See Fig 2 . Reconnect solenoid couplers. Ensure couplers are connected as follows: shift solenoid No. 1 (White connector), shift solenoid No. 2 (Blue connector) and TCC control solenoid (Yellow connector).
  2. Clean transaxle-to-side cover mating surfaces. Apply Sealant (99000-31160) to transaxle case and install side cover. Tighten bolts to 18 ft. lbs (25 N.m). Ensure NEW bolts are used in position "A". See Fig 1 . Fill transaxle with ATF to proper level.
