apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
Cruise control system consists of vehicle speed sensor, brakelight switch, Cruise Control Electronic Control Unit (CC ECU), cruise control actuator, cruise control main switch, clutch pedal switch (M/T), shift switch (A/T), SET/COAST switch, ACCEL/RESUME switch and CANCEL switch. SeeFig 1 .
NOTE:
Cruise Control Electronic Control Unit (CC ECU) may also be referred to as cruise control module.
