Using Tech-1 Scan Tool

  1. To clear DTCs using scan tool on models with ABS control module part number 33940-60G00 or 33940-60G20, follow scan tool operator's manual for specific information.
  2. If vehicle is equipped with ABS control module part number 33940-60G01 AND a wheel speed sensor DTC was present (DTC 21, 22, 25, 26, 31, 32, 35 or 36), go to next step. If vehicle is equipped with ABS control module part number 33940-60G01 AND a wheel speed sensor DTC was not present (DTC 21, 22, 25, 26, 31, 32, 35 or 36), go to step  4 .
  3. Road test vehicle at 6.5-12.5 MPH over level road surface. Stop vehicle and turn ignition off. Turn ignition back on and observe ABS warning light. If ABS warning light goes off 2 seconds after ignition is turned on, go to next step. If ABS warning light does not go off 2 seconds after ignition is turned on, repeat repair procedure.
  4. Follow scan tool operator's manual to clear DTCs.
