NOTE: Ensure engine is in good running condition before attempting transaxle diagnosis. A vehicle that runs improperly may exhibit poor transaxle performance or shift quality. All diagnosis should begin with a quick check of the self- diagnostic system to identify and eliminate any electrical problems that may be present.
