DTC 26: TCC Solenoid: Notes

NOTE: DTC 26 will set if TCC solenoid or its circuit is shorted to ground.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TCM harness connectors. Using a DVOM, measure resistance between TCM harness connector terminal A16 (Green/Yellow wire) and terminal A12 (Black/Red wire). If resistance is about 13 ohms, check for an intermittent problem. See DIAGNOSTIC AIDS . If resistance is not as specified, go to next step.
  2. Test operation of TCC solenoid. See SOLENOIDS  under COMPONENT TESTING. Replace if necessary. If solenoid tests okay, repair Green/Yellow wire for a short to ground.
