DTC 25: TCC Solenoid

NOTE: DTC 25 will set if TCC solenoid or its circuit is open or shorted to power.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TCM harness connectors. Using a DVOM, measure resistance between TCM harness connector terminal A16 (Green/Yellow wire) and terminal A12 (Black/Red wire). If resistance is about 13 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, test operation of TCC solenoid. See SOLENOIDS  under COMPONENT TESTING. Replace if necessary. If solenoid tests okay, repair Green/Yellow wire for an open or short to power.
  2. Turn ignition on. Using a DVOM, measure voltage between terminal A16 (Green/Yellow wire) and terminal A12 (Black/Red wire). If reading is about zero volts, check for poor TCM harness connections. Repair as necessary. If connections are okay, substitute TCM with a known-good unit. If reading is not as specified, repair Green/Yellow wire for a short to power.
