DTC 24: Shift Solenoid No. 2: Notes

NOTE: DTC 24 will set if shift solenoid No. 2 or its circuit is shorted to ground.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TCM harness connectors. Using a DVOM, measure resistance between TCM harness connector terminal A14 (Green/Orange wire) and terminal A12 (Black/Red wire). If resistance is about 13 ohms, check for an intermittent problem. See DIAGNOSTIC AIDS . If resistance is not as specified, go to next step.
  2. Test operation of shift solenoid No. 2. See SOLENOIDS  under COMPONENT TESTING. Replace if necessary. If solenoid tests okay, repair Green/Orange wire for a short to ground.
