TCM Power & Ground Circuit

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TCM harness connectors. Check for poor terminal contact. Repair as necessary. If connections are okay, turn ignition on. Using a DVOM, measure voltage between ground and TCM harness connector E26, terminal No. 25 (Black/White wire). If reading is 10-14 volts, go to next step. If reading is not as specified, repair open in Black/White wire.
  2. Turn ignition off. Using A DVOM, check for continuity between ground and TCM harness connector E26, terminal No. 2 (Black/Red wire). If continuity is present, power and ground circuits are okay at this time. If continuity is not present, repair open in Black or Black/White wire between TCM and chassis ground. Retest system.
