Throttle Position (TP) Sensor

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1996 Suzuki Esteem. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

TP sensor delivers a variable throttle position input signal (voltage) to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The PCM converts voltage signal into a duty signal, then delivers it to the TCM. TP sensor is mounted on side of throttle body.
