Passenger-Side Air Bag Module: Removal

Before proceeding, read air bag service precautions section. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . Disable the SRS system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Passenger-side air bag module is located on right side of instrument panel. Disconnect negative battery cable. Open glove box, then while pressing glove box stopper, pull out glove box from instrument panel. Disconnect connector. Remove attaching bolts and screws. Remove module from vehicle. See Fig 1 .
